Signage Installation Projects – United States / Canada
International Retail Corporate Branding Update – 155 sites (2 sites per day) – Our teams rebuilt the marketing façade, changing the entire visual experience for each location, to exact branding specifications. Each site required 1 full day and a crew consisting of 2-4 technicians working 6 days a week to complete on time. IT Project group communicated and provided documentation to the corporate offices, regional compliance regulators and project managers to ensure that this complex project met all completion deadlines.
Digital Signage
Annual Digital Signage Proactive Maintenance Project
Major national bank chain- 148 Sites (4 sites per day) – IT Project Group performs annual maintenance on existing digital signage in branches nationwide. Some of our tasks include but are not limited to:
-Wireless upgrade of content
-Cleaning of all equipment
-Programming Signage
-Calibration for brightness, color, temperature and other settings
Networking
Network Segmentation Project
Large Retail Grocery Chain – 2900 sites (2 year project) – Our teams consisting of 4 technicians each, work overnight on site assisting the Network Support Command Center to convert the IP addresses of each networked device (Wired/Wireless) at each location. Our primary responsibilities include working in the following areas:
-Firewalls
-UPSs
-PCs
-Timeclocks
-Customer Monitoring
-Data Closets
-Servers
-Routers and switches
-Wireless
POS Upgrade/Conversion project
Regional Grocery Chain – 54 sites (3 months) – IT Project Group helped facilitate the conversion of an older version IBM Point of Sale to a new Toshiba version. Our duties consisted of:
-Dismantle Existing POS including servers and PC’s
-Remove all cabling
-Pack all equipment for shipping
-Pre-assemble new POS
-Install new hardware and mounting brackets
-Install New POS system including servers and PC’s
-Verify and test all equipment is working properly
Structured Cabling Project
Secure Location – 119 Cat6 Drops (1 Week) – With a strong understanding of structured cabling our technical team helped plan, design, procure, install and test all cabling and network equipment for a branch of the armed services. IT Project Group was responsible for removing all existing cat 3/5 from the entire building. Along with the removal of cable, we were also responsible for moving all existing equipment from the operating network closet to a new closet on the other side of the building without disrupting services.
